The 2nd Chopard French Open Women’s Polo Championship
Congratulation to the exquisite team Why Not who won on Sunday, 21th of September, the final of the 2nd Chopard French Open Women’s Polo Championship at the Polo Club du Domaine de Chantilly.
It has been ten days of epic competition between seven participating teams from around the world. The final saw the Tom Tailor Roissy Porsche team, winner of the 1st edition of the Women’s Open Polo in 2012, come very close to winning it all for the second straight year. Both teams fought until the very last moment. Eventually though, team Why Not won the day with a very international team made up of an Australian, a French and two British players, including acclaimed Hazel Jackson (Handicap 7).
The four players received a fitting prize: a Happy Sport Chrono All Black personalized with an adorable moving diamond horseshoe; a special edition in honor of the competition.
The Chopard French Open Women’s Polo Championship began with an encounter between two exceptional women: Caroline Scheufele, co-president and artistic director of the House of Chopard, and Corinne Ricard, a passionate devotee of equestrian disciplines and the driving force behind this ladies competition.
